Privacy Policy for OnMyWeigh

The short version

OnMyWeigh does not collect your data. Your weigh-ins, measurements, goals and everything else you enter are stored only on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that receives your information. We cannot see your data, because it never reaches us.

The single exception is purchasing OnMyWeigh Pro, which the app store and our payments provider process on our behalf. That is explained in full below.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers the OnMyWeigh app on iOS and Android. It does not cover the app store's own handling of your store account, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy.

2. Information you enter

You can record the following in OnMyWeigh:

• Weight entries, with optional date, time and notes
• If you switch on GLP-1 tracking: the medication name, dose and unit you enter, the date and time, an optional injection site, optional side-effect tags and an optional note
• Blood pressure readings you enter: systolic, diastolic, the date and time, an optional pulse and an optional note
• Water intake: the amount you log, with the date and time
• A goal weight and an optional starting weight
• Height, age and sex, used to calculate BMI
• Body measurements, including optional body-fat percentage
• Milestones and custom target dates
• App preferences such as units, default chart range and reminder settings

All of it is stored locally on your device, in the app's own storage. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no user account, so this information is never associated with an identity.

If you use more than one device, this data does not sync between them.

3. Information we do not collect

OnMyWeigh contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking software and no third-party trackers. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
• Your location
• Your contacts, photos or camera. The app never requests photo or camera access
• Device identifiers for advertising or tracking purposes
• Usage analytics, crash telemetry or behavioural data

Because we do not track you across apps or websites, the app does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.

4. Purchases — the one exception

If you buy OnMyWeigh Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android), and purchase status is managed for us by RevenueCat, Inc., our payments infrastructure provider.

For that to work:

• Apple or Google processes your payment under its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details, card number or billing address.
• RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous identifier for your installation, along with the purchase receipt and subscription status. This lets the app know whether Pro is active and lets you restore purchases on a new device.

Neither the app store nor RevenueCat receives your weight, measurements or any other health information from this app. The anonymous identifier is not linked to your name, email or any other identity we hold, because we hold none.

RevenueCat's handling of that data is described in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

5. Apple Health (iOS only)

This section applies only to the iPhone version. The Android version has no health integration at all: it does not connect to Health Connect or to any other health platform, the setting described here does not appear, and nothing is written outside the app.

On iOS, OnMyWeigh can save your weigh-ins, blood pressure readings and water intake to Apple Health, and this is off until you turn it on in Settings.

• It is write-only. OnMyWeigh writes weight samples and blood pressure readings to Health and never reads anything from it. It cannot see your steps, heart rate, or any other health data, including weight or blood pressure recorded by other apps.
• Blood pressure is written as a single reading — Health stores the pair together, so the two numbers can never be separated or half-deleted.
• Health data stays on your device, managed by Apple. We do not receive it, and turning this on does not send anything to us or to anyone else.
• Editing or deleting a weigh-in or a blood pressure reading in OnMyWeigh updates or removes the matching sample in Health.
• Turning the setting off stops further saving. Weigh-ins already written to Health remain there and are yours to manage in the Health app.

On iOS you can review or revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → OnMyWeigh.

We never use Health data for advertising, and there is no advertising in this app.

6. Medication tracking (GLP-1)

If you switch on GLP-1 tracking in Settings, OnMyWeigh lets you log injections alongside your weight. This is off until you turn it on.

• It stays on your device, exactly like your weigh-ins. Medication entries are never uploaded, and we cannot see them. There is no account to attach them to.
• It is a log, not a calculator. OnMyWeigh records the dose *you* enter. It does not suggest, schedule, verify or interpret any dose, and it holds no titration protocol to compare yours against.
• The reminder is your own schedule. You choose the day and time; the app repeats it. It is not a clinical schedule and has not been reviewed by anyone.
• Nothing about it is shared with the app store or RevenueCat. They receive purchase information only, as described above — never your medication, dose or weight.

Deleting a dose removes it. Settings → Delete all data removes every dose along with everything else. Turning the feature off hides it and keeps your history, so switching it back on returns your log intact.

Medication information is sensitive even when it never leaves your phone. If you share a backup file or a PDF progress report, it may contain your dose history — that is the one way this data can travel, and only because you sent it.

7. Blood pressure

If you log blood pressure, those readings are stored on your device with everything else. They are never uploaded, and we cannot see them.

• It is a record, not an assessment. OnMyWeigh shows the readings you entered and groups them by the dates you were on a given dose. It does not average them, classify them, or tell you what they mean. It will never label a reading normal, elevated, high, or any stage of anything — those are clinical thresholds used to make treatment decisions, and this app does not make them.
• Nothing about it is shared with the app store or RevenueCat. They receive purchase information only.
• On iOS, if you turn on Apple Health saving, readings are written to Health on your device as described above. Nothing is read back.

Blood pressure is sensitive even when it never leaves your phone. As with every other kind of data here, a backup file or a PDF report you export may contain it — that is the one way it can travel, and only because you sent it.

Bring your readings to a qualified healthcare professional. Decisions about your blood pressure belong to you and them.

8. Water intake

Water is recorded the same way as everything else: the amount and when you logged it, stored on your device.

• There is no goal you did not set. The daily target defaults to a familiar figure and is yours to change; the app reports how much is left against it and nothing more.
• The app does not tell you whether you drank enough, and does not treat a missed day as a failure.
• On iOS, if Apple Health is switched on, each entry is written there as a dietary water sample. Removing an entry in OnMyWeigh removes the matching sample.

9. Notifications

Weigh-in reminders are local notifications scheduled by your device. They are not sent from a server, and no notification service receives your data. The app asks for notification permission only at the moment you switch reminders on, and you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings.

10. Exporting and sharing your data

OnMyWeigh can export your data as a CSV file, a full JSON backup, or a PDF progress report. Exporting creates a file on your device and hands it to the standard device share sheet.

Where that file goes is entirely your choice. If you email it, save it to iCloud Drive, or send it through another app, that destination's own privacy terms apply. We are not involved in and do not receive anything from that transfer.

11. Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can:

• Delete individual weigh-ins from the History tab
• Use Settings → Delete all data, which permanently removes every OnMyWeigh record from the device
• Delete the app, which removes its data with it

There is no backup on our side. If you delete the app or your device is lost or reset, the data is gone. Export a backup first if you want to keep your history.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID or Google account settings.

12. Children

OnMyWeigh is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, it holds none about children either.

13. Your rights

Privacy laws including the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to know whether it is sold or shared.

In OnMyWeigh's case those rights are satisfied by the app's design rather than by making a request to us:

• Access and portability — your data is on your device, and the export feature produces it in open CSV and JSON formats at any time
• Correction — every entry can be edited in the app
• Deletion — Settings → Delete all data, or delete the app
• Sale or sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information, and never have

We cannot action a request to retrieve or delete your weigh-in data on your behalf, because we do not have it.

14. Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security — passcode, biometric unlock, and the device's own file encryption. Because nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server-side database of user health data to breach.

15. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — for example if a future version adds Apple Health integration or cloud sync — we will update this page and the effective date above, and describe the change in the app's release notes.
